Import and Export

Optional Features

Using Import and Export

When you import or export, you can choose to use column names or the field names as displayed on the screen. If you choose to use the field names and you have specified messages that override the default field names, use the name specified in your override.

Deleting Column Values

To delete a column value, enter an equal sign (=) into the column. If the import file is an Excel spreadsheet, the format of the cell must be Text. After import, the value of that column is null. To make deletions, your role must include the function IMPORTEXPORTANY.

About the Interface Transactions Screen
